The founder of the Monroeville Putters' Club in 1979, Don Cherry has promoted competitive putting for many years. After an eight season retirement to help raise his daughter, Cherry came back in 1995 to compete at the current Monroeville complex owned by close friend, Terry Grady. Don is a past winner of the Monroeville Open and was voted Monroeville Sportsman of the Year in 1999.
